9Sergio Aguero – 20.7 million euros
Sergio Agüero born in Quilmes on June 2, 1988 – aka Kun Agüero – is in ninth place among the highest paid football players. The Argentinian soccer player usually plays in the attack. He signed a contract with Manchester City in July 2011 and extended it to mid-2021 in September 2018.
Agüero made his debut in 2006 in the Argentinian national football team. His nickname Kun, born in childhood, is a reference to a Japanese cartoon figure that has a small build and a hairstyle that looks like Agüero’s hairstyle. Sergio has a turnover of 20.7 million euros, of which 15 million euros in salary and bonuses and 5.7 million euros in sponsorship, his largest sponsor is Puma.
